KidsPeace in Orefield, PA, seeks a Student Support Specialist to provide behavioral and academic assistance in a school setting for at-risk youth. Responsibilities include intervening with behavioral support, assisting with assignments, and maintaining a safe learning environment.

This full-time, year-round position requires a high school diploma and experience with socially challenged children. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver's license. The salary ranges from $17.50 to $18.50 hourly.

Qualifications

• Experience with social and emotionally challenged children or adolescents preferred.
• Must possess basic personal computer knowledge and skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in classroom routines including daily expectations and education related support.
• Provide crisis intervention to KidsPeace students.
• Attend to the behavioral and emotional needs of the student.
