Job summary

The Menta Education Group is seeking dedicated school-based staff to provide targeted teaching and support to students, assist with behavior management, and ensure safe, orderly classroom environments. The role operates on a standard school calendar from 8 a.m.

to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a preference for candidates who can transport students using a school van. Ideal applicants hold a bachelor’s degree and have prior teaching or substitute teaching experience, with a background in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Education, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, Human Services, Kinesiology, Health & Wellness or related field.
• Experience in teaching/substitute teaching or desire to teach.
• Ability to operate tactfully under stress and flexibly adapt to routine changes.
• Experience with high‑risk special needs students.

Responsibilities

• Work with classroom instructors and staff to provide targeted teaching and support to students and general support for all students in the school.
• Assist with classroom behavior management and report concerns to appropriate staff; implement and maintain behavioral program policies and data.
• Maintain classroom order and safety; supervise students inside the school setting and respond to emergency situations.
• Provide general supervision and interventions to assist students in managing behaviors.
• Work 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Mon–Fri, following the school calendar.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and be willing to provide student transportation using a school van (strongly preferred).
