Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written or oral instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide to assist students.
• Proficiency with computers and common software (e.g., Google docs/sheets).
• Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of student/employee information.
• Ability to support students with special needs and foster inclusive learning.

Responsibilities

• Assist and guide students to reinforce reading, language arts, mathematics, computer instruction and other skills.
• Work with students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning and implement programs.
• Assist professional staff in administration and correction of exercises, tests and assessments.
• Assist in classroom preparations and strategies for reinforcing instructional materials per student needs.
• Maintain records documenting student learning and performance.
