Job summary

Spokane Public Schools is seeking a dedicated paraeducator to support students with diverse needs in multiple settings. You will assist the special education and general education teams, help implement IEP accommodations, and ensure safe, inclusive classroom participation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits from an accredited college (AA or BA acceptable).
• Pass an academically rigorous assessment.
• Ability to work with students with disabilities.
• One year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction support for core academic areas as designed by teachers.
• Assist with implementing behavioral and social skills programs under certificated staff.
• Assist students with physical and mobility needs and ensure safety across settings.
