Job summary

Chicago Public Schools (CPS) is seeking a School-Based Miscellaneous employee to provide supervision and coverage before, during, and after the school day. The role may support tutoring, reception, data entry, social media, and recruitment tasks as needed, while adhering to school policies and procedures.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of related experience, including customer service and working with students.

• Experience delivering customer service in an education or public service environment.
• Experience supervising children in organized settings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide student supervision and coverage before, during, and after the school day.
• Assist with parent outreach and school operations support.
• Support tutoring, reception, data entry, social media, and recruitment tasks as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
