Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, andevaluating retention activities for individual nursing students andundergraduate student cohorts in collaboration with the leadershipteam, faculty, and staff. The Student Success Specialist helpsat-risk undergraduate nursing students understand factors that mayimpede their success and guides them in developing motivationstrategies and overcoming barriers. In addition, the positionincludes providing support and other related services or referralsto foster student retention and success in the nursing programwhile serving as a central point of contact. Reports to theAssociate Dean of Undergraduate Programs. Salary and rank arecommensurate with experience and qualifications.
