JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Student Success Program Director provides day-to-dayadministration, operational leadership, and supervision of theStudent Success Center. Provides strategic planning,implementation, and assessment of student success, retention, anddegree competition initiatives. Collaborates with campusdepartments/divisions and community partners.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and operational oversight for the StudentSuccess Center.
  • Lead the ongoing analysis and evaluation of campus-wide studentsuccess needs.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of student successtraining, materials, workshops, seminars, programs, andprofessional development initiatives.
  • Support student retention through data-informedinterventions.
  • Serve on university committees.
  • Develop, implement, evaluate, and assess programs and servicesthat support student success and retention.
  • Utilize data, predictive analytics, and assessment methods toidentify trends and inform interventions.
  • Collaborate with campus and community partners.
  • Represent the Student Success Center at campus-wide events(i.e., Admission events, University Commencement).
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree from an accredited college/university,preferably in Higher Education, Educational Management, EducationalLeadership, Public Administration, Disability Studies, SpecialEducation, Communication, Counseling, or related field.
  • Three years of relevant experience in a role that directlysupports students and student success initiatives.
  • One year of supervisory experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, any appropriate combination of relevanteducation, experience, and/or certifications may beconsidered.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Five years of relevant experience in a role that directlysupports students and student success initiatives.
  • Experience with Banner (Student Information System).
  • Experience with assessment, strategic planning, and retentioninitiatives.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
  • Knowledge of student success strategies
  • Understanding of student development theory
  • Budget forecasting and management
  • Database management techniques
  • Work as part of a management team dedicated to studentsuccess
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present in front of large audiences
  • Plan, manage, and organize competing tasks to meet establishedtimelines
  • Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizationalskills.
REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR OTHER SPECIFICREQUIREMENTS OF LAW:
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • This position requires a criminal background check, which mayinclude a Level II screening as required by Florida Statute§435.04.
  • This position is subject to federal and state privacyregulations.
NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE:

This position is exempt/salary exempt.The normal work schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.However, occasional overtime (weekends and evenings) may berequired.

TARGET HIRING SALARY

$72,000 - $75,000, commensurate withexperience.

Full-time/On-site
