Tucson Unified School District is seeking a program coordinator to plan, coordinate and develop student/family mentor programs that boost academic and social achievement. Under general supervision, you will disseminate information, coordinate activities, and liaise with the business community to strengthen mentoring efforts.

Qualified candidates hold a relevant bachelor’s degree plus required experience, possess an Arizona IVP clearance, and are available for flexible hours including evenings

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Services, Counseling, or related field.
• Four years of direct services and program oversight for a program involving school-age children, or six years progressive experience.
• Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, coordinate, and develop student/family mentor programs to increase academic and social achievement.
• Disseminate information regarding the mentor program to stakeholders.
• Serve as liaison between Tucson Unified School District (TUSD) and business/community partners.
