Job summary

Mansfield Hall is hiring for a Connections Program Case Manager to coordinate a caseload of neurodivergent students, guiding them through academics, independent living, and community engagement. You'll lead 1:1 coaching and help build action plans with families and campus partners.

Role requires a bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences or related field and 1–3 years in related roles. On-site, full-time, with competitive benefits and daily in-person work in Burlington, VT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences, education, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in case management, academic support, life coaching, or transition programs for young adults.
• Strong working knowledge of student development, neurodiversity, and strategies for college success.
• Clear, independent written communication, since family reports go out without managerial review.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of Connections students, coordinating support across academics, independent living, and community engagement.
• Lead weekly 1:1 coaching sessions focused on executive functioning, academic performance, and independent living.
• Build and track annual MAPs with students and their Circle of Support, adjusting strategies as they grow.
• Guide students through course selection, registration, withdrawals, ADA/FERPA decisions.
• Coach on life skills like routines, time management, budgeting, cooking, and cleaning; visit apartments and lead meetings.
• Support professional readiness through job exploration, internships, and workplace communication coaching.
• Serve as a consistent contact for families and campus partners; write progress reports and evaluations.
• Support structured study times, Connections events, and onboarding of new students.
