Job summary

STEPS Educational Group is seeking an Intervention Specialist Assistant to support the Classroom Lead, IS, SLP and OT in daily duties for students' social, emotional, sensory and communication needs.

The role emphasizes organization, classroom cleanliness, and maintaining a positive, engaging learning environment across three sites in Ohio. Training and ongoing professional growth are provided to help staff meet student goals.

Qualifications

• Collaborate with IS to develop and monitor student IEPs.
• Design weekly lesson plans aligned to Ohio standards.
• Provide coaching and support to classroom staff.
• Oversee classroom staff and communicate changes to the IS.
• Maintain safety, organization and cleanliness of the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team for weekly meetings and share progress updates.
• Assist in creating and implementing intervention strategies.
• Prepare learning materials and visual supports for lessons.
• Follow behavior plans and collect relevant data.
• Ensure consistent instructional delivery across staff.
