Key Point Academy seeks an experienced Student & Family Support Lead to join our school administrative team. This role partners with students, families, teachers, and leadership across preschool through high school to coordinate student support, parent communication, instructional review, and schoolwide administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Education, Special Education, Child Development, Psychology, School Administration, or related field.
• Experience in school-based student support, family communication, instruction, or school administration.
• Strong understanding of student development from early childhood through adolescence.

Responsibilities

• Monitor student adjustment, academic progress, attendance, engagement, and behavior with teachers and leadership.
• Conduct classroom observations and student check-ins.
• Identify student concerns and coordinate support with academic leadership, counseling, and administration.
• Assist with student support plans and transitions between grade levels or divisions.
• Serve as point of contact for parent questions, concerns, meetings, and follow-up.
• Maintain confidential communication with families.
• Collaborate with teachers on student needs and classroom strategies.
• Review lesson plans for completeness, age-appropriateness, curriculum alignment, and student support.
• Review gradebooks for accuracy and timeliness, ensuring alignment with expectations.
• Follow up with teachers on documentation or communication needs.
• Support parent-facing teacher communications as needed.
• Assist with parent-teacher conferences, family events, performances, exhibitions, and school activities.
• Coordinate schedules, materials, staffing, spaces, and family communications.
• Track deadlines, concerns, and follow-up items.
• Keep Principal and leadership informed of significant or unresolved matters.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records.
• Collaborate with teachers, counseling, admissions, operations, and leadership.
