Qualifications

• Must hold valid Alabama Professional Certificate in Education.
• Master’s Degree or higher in School Counseling from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive guidance curriculum; conduct classroom guidance activities and developmental counseling groups.
• Counsel individuals and small groups toward social and foundational wellness.
• Consult with and train teachers, parents and staff regarding student needs.
• Participate in the intervention team process and collaborate with staff on interventions.
• Guide students in developing educational, personal, social and career plans.
