Job summary

DeSales University in Center Valley, PA seeks a Coordinator of Gateway To Success to oversee programming and services for students in the Gateway To Success Program, from their senior year through the first year of college and during the summer preparation period.

The role contributes to retention goals by coordinating programs for first-generation students such as Alpha Alpha Alpha and peer-to-peer coaching through work‑study, and supports the ASC during the summer months in preparation for the

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
Minimum of one year of professional experience in academic support services at the secondary or college level preferred.
Superior written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent computer skills with Colleague or similar data management tool and basic knowledge of Excel.

Responsibilities

Oversee programming and services for the Gateway To Success program from senior year through the first year of college and summer preparation.
Coordinate programs and initiatives for first-generation students, including Alpha Alpha Alpha and peer-to-peer coaching via work-study.
Support the ASC during the summer months in preparation for the incoming class.
