COORDINATOR: GATEWAY TO SUCCESS

DeSales University, in Center Valley, PA, is a private, coeducational, four-year liberal arts Salesian, Catholic university, under the leadership of the Oblates of Saint Francis de Sales. POSITION SUMMARY:

The Coordinator of Gateway To Success oversees programming and services for students in the Gateway To Success Program. Beginning with their admission to DeSales in the senior year of high school, these students receive support before and during the entirety of their college experience, including intensive support in the summer prior to matriculation and throughout their first year. This individual also contributes to the university’s retention goals by coordinating programs and initiatives for first-generation students such as Alpha Alpha Alpha and peer-to-peer coaching through work-study programming. Additionally, this position supports the ASC during the summer months in preparation for the incoming class
