Job summary

FusionEd/Career Prep Schools is seeking a dynamic Student Success Coach to lead Discovery onboarding and mentor students across Ohio. You will guide initial assessments, help students draft Life Blueprints, and ensure they understand the school's mission-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in coaching, mentoring, teaching, or program facilitation.
• High level of Tech Fluency—rapidly learn and master new software platforms.
• Exceptional public speaking and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high accountability environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Discovery process, serving as primary facilitator for new student orientations.
• Guide students through initial assessment (Star testing and strengths evaluations) to baseline starting point.
• Create students' Life Blueprint with mission, values, goals, and career plan.
• Ensure students understand school culture and mission-driven model.
• Maintain a dedicated caseload as primary mentor; monitor progress and intervene early.
• Conduct regular mentoring sessions to build relationships and accountability.
• Partner with Teachers and Family Advocates to provide academic and wraparound support.
• Participate in strategy sessions with the School Director to review program effectiveness.
• Contribute data-driven insights to refine Discovery curriculum and workflows.
• Assist in piloting new student engagement and SEL components.
• Enter onboarding documentation and assessment data accurately into systems.
• Track key metrics such as Discovery completion rates and 30/60/90-day retention.
• Support school events like Graduation or Signing Day.
