egelloC is seeking a strategic, highly organized Student Success Coach to guide families through the college admissions journey. This remote role focuses on long-term planning, competitive profiling, and navigating the UC/CSU systems with PIQ strategy, while collaborating with editing and client success teams to deliver a high-quality experience.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in college admissions coaching, IEC or school counseling background, and a strong track record managing end-to-end

Qualifications

• 5+ years of college admissions coaching, counseling, or mentoring experience.
• Experience as an Independent Educational Consultant (IEC) and/or Public High School College Counselor is strongly preferred.
• Experience independently managing the full college admissions counseling process, including academic planning, extracurricular planning, major/college selection, and application advising.
• Deep familiarity with UC and CSU admissions systems, including PIQs and admissions positioning.
• Strong understanding of Top 100 U.S. universities and admissions strategy.

Responsibilities

• Guide students and families through academic planning, extracurricular development, testing strategy, and application timelines through regular meetings and ongoing communication.
• Help students build competitive long-term profiles aligned with their academic interests, intended majors, and target universities.
• Advise students on positioning their stories, achievements, activities, and essays across UC and the Common App.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to families by providing transparency, reassurance, accountability, and strategic direction.
• Proactively monitor student progress, identify gaps or missed milestones, and intervene to keep students on track.
• Partner with Essay Editing, Client Success, and leadership teams to ensure a high-quality student experience.

Student Success Coach (College Admissions Coach)

egelloC is a fast-growing education coaching company helping students and families successfully navigate the college admissions process.

Our mission is simple: to make high-level college admissions strategy more accessible, personalized, and impactful for students from all backgrounds.

We work closely with families to provide long-term academic, extracurricular, and admissions guidance for highly competitive universities across the United States, with a strong focus on the University of California (UC) system, California State Universities (CSUs), and Top 100 U.S. colleges and universities.

Today, egelloC supports students nationwide through a fully remote global team made up of coaches, strategists, editors, client success professionals, and operations specialists. We are looking for a strategic, highly organized, and relationship-driven Student Success Coach to guide students and families through one of the most important journeys of their lives.

This is not a traditional administrative counseling role. Our coaches act as strategic partners for families, helping students build competitive profiles, stay accountable, navigate admissions milestones, and position themselves successfully for highly selective universities.

We highly value candidates with previous experience as an Independent Educational Consultant (IEC) who have independently guided students through the complete college admissions process, from long-term academic planning to final application submission.

You will become the primary point of contact for a caseload of students and families while collaborating closely with our Client Success and Essay Editing teams, allowing you to focus on high-level coaching and admissions strategy rather than logistics or administrative coordination.

We are specifically looking for candidates who understand both:

• the nuances of the UC/CSU systems and UC PIQ strategy.
• the broader Top 100 admissions landscape.

Individualized Coaching & Accountability

Guide students and families through academic planning, extracurricular development, testing strategy, and application timelines through regular meetings and ongoing communication.

Strategic Admissions Planning

Help students build competitive long-term profiles aligned with their academic interests, intended majors, and target universities.

UC & Common App Positioning

Advise students on how to strategically position their stories, achievements, activities, and essays across both the UC application system and the Common App.

Parent Communication & Guidance

Serve as a trusted and professional advisor for families by providing transparency, reassurance, accountability, and strategic direction throughout the admissions journey.

Student Progress & Intervention

Proactively monitor student progress, identify gaps or missed milestones early, and intervene strategically to keep students on track.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner closely with Essay Editing, Client Success, and internal leadership teams to ensure a seamless and high-quality student experience.
