Job summary

Goodwill Education Initiatives, Inc. seeks a Coach for The Excel Center in southeast Indianapolis. The role focuses on student advocacy, goal setting, and wrapping around services to keep students engaged and on track with Indiana standards.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and strong communication, collaboration, and data-tracking skills. Travel to participants' homes or venues may be needed; benefits are included for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, human relations, social work, rehabilitation counseling, education, or related fields.
• Ability to articulate thoughts and ideas clearly in writing and speaking.
• Experience in advising, counseling, or mentoring students is preferred.
• Knowledge of Indiana Academic Standards and related frameworks is beneficial.
• Familiarity with student information systems and basic data tracking.

Responsibilities

• Meets with students one-on-one to set goals and create action plans.
• Builds relationships to connect students with resources and reduce barriers.
• Develops and tracks student data to drive outcomes and interventions.
• Collaborates with academics teams to support student goals and progress.
• Participates in recruitment, enrollment, and outreach activities.
• Maintains a high-performance culture for staff and students.
