Job summary

Holyoke Community College seeks SAMP Success Ambassadors to mentor a cohort of 20 Success Scholars and assist with program facilitation, event planning, and campus functions. Ambassadors must attend orientation and collaborate with Success Coaches.

Responsibilities include weekly meetings with coaches, documenting interactions, making referrals, and promoting academic and personal success while fostering belonging on campus.

Qualifications

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Currently enrolled in at least six credits
• Have earned a minimum of six college credits

Responsibilities

• Provide peer-to-peer mentorship to a caseload of up to 20 Success Scholars.
• Build connections with assigned scholars through regular outreach and face-to-face meetings when possible.
• Meet with a Success Coach weekly to review caseload and progress.
• Document interactions with Success Scholars promptly.
• Make appropriate referrals to support services and resources at HCC.
• Promote student academic and personal success and serve as a positive role model.
