Job summary

Pace Center for Girls in Immokalee, FL is seeking a part-time Academic Support Aide to assist Teacher Advisors with classroom activities and provide remedial tutoring tailored to individual needs.

You will help students individually or in small groups, grade exams, and support data entry and administrative tasks as needed. A high school diploma is required; associates or degrees are preferred, with a commitment to our values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; basic computer/database skills.
• Preferred: Associate or Bachelor's Degree in education or related field.
• Experience in educational environment and teaching preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist students individually or in groups with lessons and learning concepts.
• Administer and grade examinations; files student papers and paperwork.
• Follow lesson plan and supervise class in the absence of the Teacher Advisor.
• Assist in state testing and comply with state regulations.
• Participate in parent conferences and recommend academic program improvements.
• Enter data into school board information systems as assigned.
• Support teachers on field trips and after-hours center activities.
