Job summary

Applitrack is seeking Teacher Aide positions district-wide to assist certified staff in classrooms and support student learning. The role involves supervising students, assisting with instructional materials, and aiding in assessments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with special needs children desirable.
• Ability to carry out instructions and follow written or oral directions.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals.

Responsibilities

• Assist students individually or in small groups to reinforce reading, language arts, math and other skills.
• Assist in administration and correction of tests and assessments.
• Assist in classroom preparations and instructional materials.
• Support classroom behavioral management to maintain a safe, orderly environment.
• Supervise non-instructional areas (lunch, bus duty, playground, study hall) and accompany students on field trips.
• Assist with parent contact to foster effective involvement in education.
• Support students with special needs to maximize inclusion and achievement, including IEP objectives.
