Job summary

Applitrack seeks a Paraprofessional (Teachers' Aide) to support full-time instructional staff and reinforce classroom lessons with students. You will coordinate with Student Services, administrators, and other staff to ensure effective learning experiences.

You will assist with assessments, manage instructional materials, and help supervise students during transitions and meals. A high school diploma and PARA licensure within the first year are required; an associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; PARA licence to be obtained within first year.
• Associates degree preferred; three years of related experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support lead teacher in classroom instruction and management.
• Assist with classroom activities and lessons.
• Support individual students requiring modified instruction.
• Administer assessments and quizzes.
• Grade tests and perform clerical classroom duties.
• Prepare communication folders for home.
• Monitor students when the lead teacher is absent.
• Escort students around school and monitor during breaks.
• Assist with student drop-off and pickup.
• Assist with hygiene and complex medical needs as necessary.
• Manage calendars and appointments.
• Attend to hallways, study periods, and lunch supervision.
• Participate in professional development.
• Arrive on time and perform other related duties.
