Sun Prairie Area School District is seeking a Youth Advocate to build positive relationships with students and connect them to their educational program. The role provides supervision in hallways, lunchrooms, and around the campus, using conflict resolution and restorative practices to support a safe learning environment.

This full-time position (7.5 hours/day, Monday–Friday, during the school year) offers benefits, paid time off, and holidays.

Competenze

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• Experience with diverse student populations preferred.
• Experience or understanding of diverse cultures in a school setting.
• Knowledge and appreciation for adolescent development.

Mansioni

• Ensure students are in class for the instructional period.
• Monitor hallways, bathrooms, doors, and grounds to maintain safety.
• Provide supervision and be a positive presence in school areas.
• Collaborate with admin and staff to support crisis management and safety.
• Refer students to services or restorative practices as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
