Job summary

The Ohio State University seeks an Undergraduate Academic Advisor 1 for the Medicine | Health and Rehabilitation Sciences department in Columbus. You will provide one-on-one guidance to undergraduates on degree options, general education requirements, prerequisite courses, and major selections.

Responsibilities include advising students with academic, probationary, and financial concerns, processing add/drop and program changes, and assisting with orientation and advising projects.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree required.
• 0 years of relevant experience required; 0-2 years preferred.
• Location: Atwell Hall, Regular, 40 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Advise undergraduate students on degree options and major courses.
• Consult and escalate outstanding matters to senior staff.
• Process add/drop, withdrawals, and program changes.
• Provide information on academic, career, financial resources.
• Assist with student orientation and prepare orientation packets.
• Participate in advising projects and professional development.
