Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in advising or a related area.
• Experience in a university academic advising office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise undergraduate students on course planning, policies, and progress.
• Initiate and maintain contact with students regarding academic progress.
• Develop plans with students for goals, career and personal development.
• Monitor and update degree audits.
• Assist students with course registration.
• Participate in on/off-campus recruitment events.
• Provide active referrals to other campus offices and resources.
• May mentor student workers.
