Qualifications

• Basic grammar, spelling, punctuation; basic math like percentages and ratios.
• Education will be considered in lieu of experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of directly related experience.

Responsibilities

• Advise current and prospective students on degree requirements and procedures.
• Prepare degree plans and revise degree requirement handouts and forms.
• Correspond with applicants regarding applications, status, financial aid, and prerequisites by phone, letter, and email.
• Assist in student registrations and add/drop sessions.
• May assist faculty with changes in academic procedures during term (e.g., grade changes, petitions).
• Compile applicant information to monitor status and identify deserving students.
• Create and maintain hardcopy files of students and applicants.
• Participate in new student orientation and represent the department at events.
• Prepare revisions of the class schedule and faculty assignment rosters.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
