Under the Director of Academic Advising, you will gain hands‑on experience in higher education administration, professional communication, and academic support.

Qualifications

• Current Student in good academic standing (minimum 3.0 GPA preferred).
• Excellent speaking and writing skills with professional demeanor.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage schedules.

Responsibilities

• Front‑Line Support: be the welcoming first contact for students and direct to the right resource.
• Peer Advising: explain degree requirements and registration language and guide to resources.
• Confidentiality: maintain FERPA compliance with student records.
• Office Management: assist in supplies and advising files organization.
• Service Hours: prepare materials for CAPE events and manage check‑in and attendance.
• Teaching Assistant: support first year courses when needed.
