Job summary

You will help students develop decision-making skills, address challenges from investigation to implementation, and engage with prospective students during admissions while coordinating outreach activities.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university in the behavioral sciences, public or business administration or a job-related field.
• One year of full-time equivalent experience in professional Student Services work at the entry trainee level.
• Graduate-level, job-related education may substitute for the required experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide developmental, academic advising to potential and current students, focusing on student success and retention.
• Assist with outreach activities and coordinate engagement with prospective students throughout the admissions cycle.
• Support problems from investigation through solution and implementation with established procedures.
