Job summary

Upper Crust Food Service in Stillwater, OK is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our fast-paced kitchen team. You will help maintain a clean, sanitary dining and prep area, operate a commercial dishwasher, and support cooks and servers with timely, safe service.

Qualifications

• Candidates must work well in a team environment.
• Experience operating a commercial dishwasher.
• Familiarity with industry best practices.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• High school education or vocational training preferred.
• Food safety handler certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining room.
• Wash kitchen utensils, equipment and dishes using a dishwasher or by hand.
• Put away clean dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans.
• Stock supplies in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.
• Sweep and wash floors.
• Sort and remove the trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Assist with food preparation duties as directed by the Head Chef and/or Sous Chef.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers and customers.
• Communicate regularly with management via calls, emails, and texts.
