Job summary

Sanford Performing Arts Center in Sanford, FL is growing our team of Student Stagehands to operate sound, lighting and stage equipment for live theatrical and concert presentations.

Student positions are hourly, on an as-needed basis for select performances; paid training workshops are provided.

Qualifications

• Student applicants must be currently enrolled at Sanford High School, at least 15 years old, and eligible for a work permit, if necessary.
• Applicants should be friendly, dependable, and adaptable in a fast-paced setting.
• Candidates must be able to lift up to 75 pounds, and navigate stairs.
• Some experience in live sound production, theatrical lighting, or stage management is preferred.

Sanford Performing Arts Center is growing our team of Student Stagehands to operate sound, lighting, and stage equipment for live theatrical and concert presentations.

Student Stagehands will be offered hourly employment on an as-needed basis, as required for certain (but not all) performances, and will be required to attend paid training workshops.

Qualifications:
Student applicants must be currently enrolled at Sanford High School, at least 15 years old, and eligible for a work permit, if necessary. Applicants should be friendly, dependable, and adaptable in a fast-paced setting. Candidates must be able to lift up to 75 pounds, and navigate stairs. Pay Range: $16.50-$18.50/hour
