Job summary

Sanford School Department's Sanford Performing Arts Center is expanding its team of Event Stagehands to operate sound, lighting, and stage equipment for live theatrical and concert presentations. Positions are offered on an as-needed hourly basis and may include paid training workshops.

Applicants should have experience in live sound production, lighting, or stage management, be friendly, dependable, and adaptable in a fast-paced setting, and be able to lift up to 75 pounds and navigate stairs.

Description: Sanford Performing Arts Center is growing our team of Event Stagehands to operate sound, lighting, and stage equipment for live theatrical and concert presentations. Stagehands will be offered hourly employment on an as-needed basis, as required for certain (but not all) performances, and will be required to attend paid training workshops.
