Job summary

Lamar University’s Department of Counseling is seeking a student worker to support daily office operations and respond to student inquiries. You will help coordinate department activities and assist faculty with administrative tasks.

The role includes organizing materials for meetings, routing questions to the right contacts, archiving files, and delivering items between offices. A reliable, communicative team player who can lift up to 40 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize and prepare materials for professors and Residency/department meetings.
• Answer incoming calls and questions about enrollment.
• Direct students to the proper contact for advisement.
• Archive and organize department files and documents.
• Deliver materials between departments and the post office.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
