Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) operates the Tongue Point Job Corps Center in Astoria, OR, seeking a capable administrator to oversee student personnel functions, discipline systems, and significant incident management in alignment with government and center directives.

The role entails supervising staff, developing policies, ensuring contractual compliance, and coordinating with departments to support student services and center objectives, with a focus on safety and program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience, with 2 in supervisory capacity.
• Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements.
• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall supervision for student personnel through effective planning, staff scheduling and student participation in establishment of rules.
• Develop and implement new and revised policies and procedures affecting student discipline, and coordinate with other departments to comply with overall center objectives.
• Review and audit all assigned areas regularly for contractual compliance and effectiveness of delivery of services to students. Prepare related reports. Ensure 100% compliance.
• Determine and administer disciplinary action for students who have violated rules and regulations. Conduct thorough investigations and submit significant incident reports (SIR's) within designated timeframes.
• Coordinate and monitor review board and peer court functions and actions.
• Coordinate student discipline with other center staff and maintain documentation of records and reports on activities.

Education

Bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience (2 supervisory)
