Job summary

Academy District 20 in Colorado Springs seeks a dedicated school staff member to support daily operations at High Plains Elementary School. You will report for work as scheduled, supervise students, enforce rules, assist with classroom logistics, and help maintain a safe, orderly environment throughout the campus and lunchroom.

Qualifications include First Aid/CPR and a high school diploma, with a commitment to confidentiality and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Reports consistently for work as scheduled
• Attains proficient or higher evaluations on established Performance Standards
• Directs visitors to office
• Enforces all school rules of student behavior
• Inspects playground grounds and equipment, notifying administrator of repairs
• Issues verbal warnings, writes up discipline referrals, reports misconduct, and requests assistance as required
• Supervises school grounds/parking lots
• Work with administration to develop and enforce security policies and procedures
