Job summary

Academy District 20 in Colorado Springs is seeking a part-time Lunchroom Clerk at Encompass Heights Elementary School to manage lunch sales, deposits, and meal counts in the cafeteria. This role supports nutrition services and school operations while ensuring accuracy in daily records.

The ideal candidate will have First Aid/CPR certification and a high school diploma, and will demonstrate effective communication, confidentiality, and the ability to work with diverse groups of students and staff.

Qualifications

• First Aid/CPR certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Reports consistently for work as scheduled.
• Completes daily paperwork for the school and food service vendor (i.e., lunch reports and deposits).
• Sells and tracks lunch purchases in POS system (Infinite Campus) according to USDA meal count regulations.
• Ensures all components of reimbursable meals are present.
• Attends mandatory training events on meal count procedures.
