Job summary

Community College of Denver is seeking a SPARC Community & Student Resources Coordinator on the Auraria Campus in Denver. The role oversees on- and off-campus resource delivery to meet basic student needs and expands the SPARC resource center across campuses.

It reports to the Director of Conduct and Support and aims to promote equity and student success. The position emphasizes collaboration with Care Team, Conduct, Title IX and related departments, and requires a bachelor’s degree with

Qualifications

• Education requirement: Bachelor’s degree in counseling/human services/social work/psychology or related field.
• Three years of experience in counseling, human services, social work or related field.
• Experience working with underrepresented student populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as point-of-contact for students needing on- and off-campus resources for career, academic and financial wellness.
• Coordinate and expand SPARC resource programming and services.
• Supervise hourly staff and work-study students; train staff around supporting students in need.
• Engage with community partners to stay current on resources benefiting students and referrals.
• Track data and report on student contacts, needs and outcomes to support persistence and retention goals.
