Job summary

Ohio State University is seeking a Student Research Assistant for the Comprehensive Cancer Center. You will support research studies on how the built environment relates to cancer risk factors, performing data collection with CANVAS and assisting with results translation.

You will receive training, work under supervision, and travel to the Olentangy River Rd site for fieldwork. This temporary role offers 20 hours weekly and a chance to contribute to public health research and university goals.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment as a student at Ohio State.
• Close attention to detail and ability to maintain focus with repetitive tasks.
• Verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in research studies on built environment factors and cancer risk outcomes.
• Main responsibility is data collection using CANVAS, a Google Street View API.
• Will be trained to conduct visual assessments and contribute to results translation (posters, manuscripts).
