Milwaukee Area Technical College seeks a Coordinator of Student Recruitment and Campus Visit to drive enrollment through campus tours, ambassador support, and event coordination.
You will manage recruitment initiatives, oversee CRM processes, and ensure high-quality campus experiences while collaborating across departments.
Under the direction of the Director, Student Recruiting and Call Center, the Coordinator, Student Recruitment and Campus Visit, supports the college’s enrollment efforts by coordinating campus tours, managing the Student Ambassador program, supporting recruitment events, and maintaining recruitment systems and processes to attract, engage, and enroll a diverse student population. Work is cross-functional and diverse. Challenging, high-volume environment, that requires multitasking skills, the ability to meet deadlines and deal with difficult situations. Operates with strong professional judgment, accuracy, and decision making with minimal supervision. Daily responsibilities are completed independently using established policies and general objectives with interaction with supervisor limited to problems or unusual conditions. Coordinates the full lifecycle of the Student Ambassador program, including recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling, and ongoing supervision, ensuring effective staffing of campus tours, welcome tables, and recruitment activities.
Coordinates and maintains daily campus tours across the district, including scheduling downtown tours, managing welcome table operations, and ensuring Student Ambassadors are trained to deliver consistent, high-quality campus experiences.
Provides logistical and operational support for recruitment initiatives by collaborating with recruiters to coordinate customized campus visits, tours, and group experiences, and assisting with the planning and execution of major recruitment and admissions events such as Open House, Casa Abierta, Stormer Admitted Day, and MATC Signing Day.
Supports recruitment operations by overseeing CRM processes including data entry, tracking, and follow-up activities to support lead conversion, while coordinating front-facing office services, ensuring appropriate coverage of public spaces and communication channels, and assisting leadership with daily operational needs.
Develops, tracks, and analyzes recruitment metrics and key performance indicators to evaluate effectiveness and support data-informed decision making. Partners with the Director and student recruiters to implement improvements that enhance quality, consistency, and outcomes.

Establishes, maintains, and enhances positive work relationships with students, staff, faculty, and administrators.
Maintains current knowledge of best practices in the field by participating in training opportunities, user groups, publications, and professional groups. Actively organizes and/or participates in applicable workgroups, trainings, workshops, seminars, committees and professional associations or conferences to promote continuous learning.
Performs other related duties within the scope of the position as required for the efficient operation of the division and to support institutional objectives.
Compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation standards/requirement, as well as all MATC policies and procedures.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing/ Communications, Higher Education, Organizational Development, Course Development, Facilitation, or related field with two (2) years of progressive experience.

This is a full-time, in-person position (minimum 38.75 hours per week) based primarily at the Downtown Milwaukee campus. Hours vary between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with evening and weekend hours required as needed. Travel to other campuses is required. Schedule is subject to change based on departmental needs.
Salary pay rates are listed up to the midpoint of the range and placement is determined based on years of experience, internal salary equity, and a review of the applicant's employment and educational background as listed on the job application.
