Job summary

The Elliot in Manchester, NH is seeking a motivated Student Radiology Technologist to join the Radiology department on a per diem, part-time basis. The candidate will perform radiography procedures, assist licensed practitioners, and adhere to ASRT standards while completing required training and annual education.

Enrollment in an AMA-approved radiologic technologist program is required, with on-the-job licensing steps and BLS certification during orientation.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a formal Radiological Technologist training program from an AMA approved school.
• Upon graduation, the employee must obtain a temporary Medical Imaging license.
• Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiography procedures based on ASRT standards and ethics.
• Assists the licensed practitioner in the completion of interventional procedures.
• Works under the direction of the staff radiologic technologist.
• Completes annual mandatory education on time.
