Job summary

Corewell Health Taylor Hospital in Taylor, MI, seeks a part-time Radiology Imaging Technician to perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of a registered radiographer. You will ensure patient safety, prepare equipment and supplies, and coordinate routine fluoroscopic and portable X-ray procedures according to established standards.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least 1 year of relevant imaging experience, plus BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma.
• 1 year of relevant experience; first year of accredited imaging program completed preferred.
• CRT-BLS certification required on hire (AHA or ARC).

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer.
• Coordinate and perform routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, portable X-rays, trauma and surgery according to standards.
• Ensure patient safety and verify equipment and supplies at start and end of each procedure.
