Children's of Alabama in Birmingham is seeking a Student Radiologic Technologist for the Diagnostic Radiology Department. The position supports radiologic examinations ordered by medical staff under the supervision of a registered radiology technologist.

This part-time role requires current enrollment in an accredited radiology program and, if applicable, an associate degree. Schedule includes day and evening shifts with every other weekend, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

• Essential: currently enrolled in an accredited Radiology Technology program.
• Associates Degree in Radiology Technology may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiologic examinations as ordered by medical personnel under supervision.
• Support Pediatric Imaging Department under the direction of a registered radiology technologist.

Summary:
A Student Radiologic Technologist is responsible for providing radiological health care to the Pediatric Imaging Department through the performance of completing radiologic examinations ordered by appropriate medical personnel under the direction of a registered radiology technologist
