Job summary

East Liverpool City Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Per Diem Radiology Technician to join our imaging team. You will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to protocols, maintain image quality, and ensure patient safety and comfort.

Requirements include high school diploma, BCLS, and enrollment in an accredited radiologic program; licensing exemptions per state; and at least one year of clinical radiology experience. Proficient computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Currently attending an accredited health care educational program for radiologic technology.
• Meet state requirements for exemption from licensing to operate x-ray equipment.
• Current BCLS (AHA).
• At least one year of clinical experience in the radiology technologist program required.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols and regulations.
• Acts as first line interface with customers and ensures imaging needs are met.
• Participates in PI/QC activities.
• Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations. Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in PI/QC activities. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
