Qualifications

• Enrollment in a formal Radiological Technologist training program from an AMA approved school.
• Upon graduation from formal Radiological Technologist training program, employee is required to obtain a temporary Medical Imaging license.
• Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment, Required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiography procedures based on the ASRT Radiography Practice Standards and the ASRT Code of Ethics.
• Assists the licensed practitioner in the completion of interventional procedures.
• Works under the direction of the staff radiologic technologist.
• Completes annual mandatory education on time.
