CommonSpirit Health's Saint Joseph London in Kentucky is seeking a Student Radiologic Technologist to gain hands-on experience supporting diagnostic imaging to aid accurate patient diagnosis. You will assist with X-ray, CT, and MRI, learn patient positioning, and contribute to positive patient experiences under supervision, with emphasis on safety and quality.

A strong eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and clear communication are essential as you complete required education and CPR

Qualifications

• Must have completed High School General Studies or GED.
• Must have a minimum of twelve (12) months education in a JRCERT accredited School of Radiology.
• CPR/Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsabilités

• Assists with imaging procedures to support diagnostic quality.
• Learns patient positioning for X-ray, CT, and MRI exams.
• Adheres to Radiologist expectations and departmental protocols.
• Supports and reports any identified compliance matters.
• Participates in hospital and department quality assurance programs for safety and satisfaction.
• Uses standard precautions and PPE at all times.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Student Rad Tech, you will gain hands‑on experience, supporting diagnostic imaging to aid accurate patient diagnosis.

Every day, you will assist in performing various imaging examinations (X-rays, CT, MRI), learning patient positioning, and contributing to positive patient experiences under supervision.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a strong eagerness to learn, attention to detail, excellent communication, and a foundational understanding of imaging principles, committed to mastering workflow and image quality.

• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
• Assist with procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologist’s expectations and protocols.
• Displays knowledge and complies with the National Patient Safety goals.
• Supports and reports any identified compliance matters.
• Participates in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.
• Uses standard precautions, PPE, at all times.
