CHI Saint Joseph Medical Group in Kentucky seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging including X-rays, ultrasound, CT, and MRI, while delivering compassionate patient care. The role requires up-to-date credentials, adherence to NP safety goals, and ongoing professional development, with a sign-on bonus of $25,000 for eligible hires and opportunities to advance

Qualifications

• Associates of Science in Radiologic Technology or related field required at hire.
• Program must be JRCERT-accredited, upon hire.
• KY Medical Radiographer credential required at hire.
• ARRT Radiography credential required at hire.
• CT, MR, Nuclear Medicine, and other specialty technologist registrations upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Provide diagnostic imaging with X-rays, CT, MRI, and other modalities according to radiologist protocols.
• Ensure age-appropriate patient care and safety during procedures.
• Adhere to National Patient Safety goals and quality assurance programs.
• Report compliance matters and participate in quality initiatives.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.

Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.

To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
• Performs procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologist's expectations and protocols.
• Displays knowledge and complies with the National Patient Safety goals.
• Supports and reports any identified compliance matters.
• Participates in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.
• Maintains professional development and education for technical competency.
