Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's Saint Joseph London hospital is seeking a Student Radiologic Technologist to gain hands-on experience in diagnostic imaging, supporting X-ray, CT, and MRI examinations under supervision to aid accurate patient diagnosis.

You will learn patient positioning, implement safety protocols, and contribute to positive patient experiences while demonstrating eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED upon hire.
• Minimum of 12 months education in a JRCERT-accredited School of Radiology upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with imaging examinations (X-ray, CT, MRI) under supervision.
• Learn patient positioning and contribute to positive patient experiences.
• Follow radiology department protocols and safety guidelines.
• Participate in quality assurance programs to ensure safety and image quality.
• Use standard precautions and PPE at all times.

As our Student Rad Tech, you will gain hands-on experience, supporting diagnostic imaging to aid accurate patient diagnosis.

Every day, you will assist in performing various imaging examinations (X-rays, CT, MRI), learning patient positioning, and contributing to positive patient experiences under supervision.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a strong eagerness to learn, attention to detail, excellent communication, and a foundational understanding of imaging principles, committed to mastering workflow and image quality.

• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
• Assist with procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologist’s expectations and protocols.
• Displays knowledge and complies with the National Patient Safety goals.
• Supports and reports any identified compliance matters.
• Participates in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.
• Uses standard precautions, PPE, at all times.

Pay Range
