Job summary

You will work across Education and Student Programs teams, plan events like PhysCon, monitor timelines, and assess program impact while ensuring excellent participant

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Higher Education, Student Affairs, Communications, Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience coordinating programs, events, student initiatives, internships, or educational programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with students, faculty, volunteers, and partners.
  • Strong organizational and program management skills with ability to prioritize deadlines.
  • Experience planning events, workshops, conferences, or educational programming.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the SPS Internship Program administration: applications, onboarding, communications, and lifecycle support.
  • Plan and implement professional development activities for student interns.
  • Monitor timelines and maintain accurate records, ensuring milestones are met.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Develop resources and engagement materials for SPS chapters and Sigma Pi Sigma.
  • Coordinate communications for internships, events, awards, and chapter initiatives.
  • Assist with planning student-focused conferences, workshops, and outreach events.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Education, Higher Education, Student Affairs, Communications, Science, or related field
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong organizational and program management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail
