Job summary

Management & Training Corporation operates Tongue Point Job Corps Center in Astoria, OR, seeking a dedicated professional for student personnel functions. You will oversee the discipline and behavioral adjustment system and manage major incidents in line with government and center directives.

Essential duties include administering disciplinary actions, coordinating review boards, counseling students, and maintaining student records using CIS and other systems.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree and two years related experience required.
• Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements.
• Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills, organization & recordkeeping.
• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist in determining and administering disciplinary action for students who have violated rules and regulations. Maintain confidentiality regarding negative incidents and student records.
• Coordinate and monitor review boards as needed, assist with peer intervention records.
• Counsel students when their behavior on or off-center is not appropriate.
• Coordinate student personnel programs with other center staff and maintain documentation of records and reports on activities using CIS, as well as other systems of documentation.
• Serve as student personnel officer in the officer's absence.
