Job summary

The University of Oklahoma is seeking Production Assistants to support SoonerVision across live game production, broadcasts, webcasts, and postproduction tasks. Rotating shift schedule and campus location in Norman, OK are part of the role.

No prior experience required; training provided. You must be enrolled as a Fall 2026 undergraduate student at OU and be able to attach your Fall 2026 class schedule. A background check is required.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma.
• Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
• Must attach Fall 2026 OU class schedule

Responsibilities

• Assist in live game production across SoonerVision activities (live game production, big screen, TV broadcasts, webcasts).
• Assist with postproduction tasks including editing and motion graphics.
• Operate scoreboard/LED boards and support engineering/broadcast operations.
• Conduct tape archiving and logging.
• Support training and learning provided by Sooner Vision staff

Position Introduction:

• Production Assistants Will Assist in All Areas of SoonerVision Including:
  
  • Live Game Production:
    • Big Screen,
    • Television Broadcasts,
    • Webcasts
    • Studio Show and Feature Production
    • Postproduction (Editing, Motion Graphic Design)
    • Scoreboard and LED Board Operation
    • Engineering and Broadcast Operations
    • Tape Archiving & Logging

Required Education and Experience:

• Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma.
• Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
• Must attach Fall 2026 OU class schedule

Skills:

• No prior experience or knowledge of the production process is required for Production Assistants.
• Individuals will be trained by Sooner Vision staff.
• They need only have a strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly and work hard.
• Good oral and written communications skills are a must.
