Oregon State University is seeking two part-time Personal Finance Educators for the College of Business, Center for Advancing Financial Education (CAFE). You will educate peers and community members through appointments, workshops, and outreach, under CFP professionals, faculty, and staff.

This hybrid role blends in-person and remote work. Begin Fall 2026 with onboarding and ongoing professional development; salary is $16.55 per hour.

Formación

• Must be academically enrolled at OSU in the Financial Planning Option.
• Successful completion of FIN 460: Principles of Financial Planning prior to employment.
• Interest in pursuing CFP certification after graduation.
• Ability to commit to a rigorous onboarding and training program.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct one-on-one financial education appointments with students and community members.
• Educate clients on budgeting, saving, debt, and basic investing concepts.
• Prepare for and document appointments, maintaining confidentiality.
• Lead or co-facilitate financial wellness presentations and workshops.
• Attend weekly team meetings and participate in professional development.
• Support outreach events and extend CAFE’s impact across campus.
