Penn State's Sokolov-Miller Family Financial and Life Skills Center seeks Education Program Specialists to develop, implement, and evaluate financial literacy initiatives across campuses, while managing day-to-day operations of the Student Financial Wellness Ambassadors.

The role requires strong instructional skills, supervision of student staff, and commitment to inclusive education; offers flexible hybrid work and opportunities to advance financial wellness through evidence-based presentations.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Finance, Counseling, Higher Education, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience supervising, mentoring, or leading student employees, peer educators, or volunteers.
• Experience delivering presentations, workshops, training programs, or educational programming.
• Knowledge of financial wellness, financial literacy, or student success programs.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver financial education presentations, workshops, and coaching sessions across Penn State campuses.
• Facilitate classroom instruction and educational programs using established curriculum and learning resources.
• Adapt educational content to meet the needs of diverse audiences and learning environments.
• Serve as a primary educator and representative of the Center.
• Supervise and support Student Financial Wellness Ambassadors.
• Coordinate student employee schedules, assignments, and program participation.
• Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to student staff.
• Coordinate logistics for workshops, presentations, and outreach events.
• Serve as a point of contact for program requests and campus partners.
• Manage scheduling, communications, materials, and event preparation activities.
• Collect and track participation, assessment, and program outcome data.
• Prepare reports and recommendations to support program improvement.
• Support outreach, marketing, and communication efforts that promote financial wellness programs.
• Maintain and update educational resources, presentations, and program materials.
